Especially in light of the fact that Davinci Resolve is free and their built-in denoiser has gotten pretty damn good, especially if you learn how to use it (This is where a Lynda.com tutorial can really help you out).However, I did buy the Neat Video plugin which delivers a surprisingly powerhouse noise reduction for low light situations. You need to tweak the settings with a light hand but the results can really save some seriously dodgy shots. For $99 it's a steal and should be used as a surgical tool when you really need it. I used it on my film for about three or four shots which were right on the razor's edge of being unusable and I was astonished how well I was able to recover them. But for normal everyday exposed shots I though Neat Video was okay, so for everything else in my film I used the built-in denoiser in Resolve.Hope this helps. Good luck.
